Movement Building Training, Part 2: Voter Registration to Build Community Power!

This year is an enormously important election year—both at the state and federal level.  But too many people in our communities remain disengaged from the political process.  Our challenge: registering and mobilizing thousands of voters to make our communities’ voices heard.

But what’s the most effective way to register voters?  And how can we develop enough people power to register thousands of people in our communities?  And how can we build a strong enough team to be successful?

This two-part training (June 12th and June 19th) will help you answer all of these critical questions.  It will include direct training on 1) how to most effectively register voters, 2) how to build or join a voter registration team and 3) how to develop a highly effective voter registration strategy.  In short, it will give you the tools you need to empower your community this summer!

When: Tuesday, June 12th, 5:30-8:30pm (Part One)

Tuesday, June 19th, 5:30-8:30pm (Part Two)

Where: Make the Road New York, 1090 Suffolk Avenue, Brentwood, NY
